Decided to do something new this time around. Enter just for fun and use ONLY
my boatanchor collection. I operated the following gear: HT-37/SX-111,
DX-60B/HG-10b VFO, Knight-Kit T-50 and matching V-44 VFO/R-100A receiver.
Only antenna used was a ladder-line center fed Zepp, at about 40 foot cut for 3
mhz. But I did cheat a bit and use the computer for logging...oh well, but it
is sooooo easy that way... hi.
I amazed myself how this stuff actually could work the world.
We need a Boatanchor Class in some of the contests such as Sweeps or Field Day.
(yes I know FD isn't really a contest). Anyone out there with some clout to
push this idea?????
