Team SO1R.
Enjoyed the Contest. Lots of stations on which made it very interesting.
Thanks to all who were kind enough to work me.
Bands seemed to be in good shape for this type of contest. Not sure how they
would be for a DX contest though. Thanks to KH6GMP for passing out he HI mult.
on a number of the bands as well as 8P2K. 8P2K had a good signal on 80 meters.
Thanks to OK1AKU for the 80 meter contact. Surprised me when he called.
Interesting on 40 meters to see how the antennas worked in a domestic contest
using the both in phase and both out of phase feature. The BOP did seem to make
a difference on getting a better signal into the Midwest with both ant. pointed
to the West. The antenna selection & phasing device is written up in the March/
April 2005 issue of the NCJ.
Thanks again to all who participated - it was fun.
