The BARC JR. kids put in 8 hours Sunday, it's the first DX contest they've done.
Normally they do domestic contests, this time they really had to work to pull
out the weak ones when CQing. Trevor, KC0OJH is working on his Extra license so
the operation was limited to the General bands. Good incentive to upgrade!
He's also giving a talk on contesting at the Youth Forum at the Dayton
Hamvention this year. These kids are in 11th grade and really enjoy operating
contests whenever thier busy schedules permit. Anyhow, it was fun to elmer
these kids and hope to do many more... '73 Dan N0HF
