Couldn't seem to hear much outside of NA & SA on Fri. night. Got off to a pretty
good start on Sat. but about noon my rotor jammed pointing to about 255 Deg. I
was aggravated to put it mildly and with everything wet and no crew there was no
trip up the tower. This really hurt my QSO rate. So I slept late on Sun and
got the rotor going about 1030 AM local time. From there things picked up
pretty good and I even got a few runs going on 15 and 20 meters. Lots of
thunderstorms in Georgia and SW SC which made 80 and 160 M a real challenge.
The noise level was 20 to 30 db over 9 from them. Overall I had a really great
time and thanks for the contacts!..73 Duren
