Comments:
With some of the best weather we've seen in NW Ga. in the last 5 months, it was
a real gut check to stay in the shack for any length of time. I'm sure the
rovers must have enjoyed it though.
N2CU qrp - that's pretty cool!
Hey, I know i'm weak with 5 watts but, what's the deal with the folks working me
on my run freq. and then immediately setting up shop and calling CQ dead on????
That happened 6 or 7 times - simply amazing........
FWIW there was a K8 that came up on 75m SSB ~3848 just before contest end and
asked how long the QSO party would last and that THEY wanted to find an
ALTERNATE freq. for THEIR net so they would not interfere with us. There were a
couple of us on the frequency and we were spechless. Having been given this
gesture, we told them we would be gone in plenty of time simply as a result of
his willingness to cooperate (we would have anyway ;)and actually worked this
guy and couple of his friends. Everybody's happy because of a classy net contol
station. Nice way to wrap up the contest.
Thanks for the q's everyone ----- 73 Brian
