According to the new rules any station can be contacted during the contest now
on. It means that non-EA can operate with non-EA as well.
It is a good idea, however.
So the contest has undoubtedly become more whirling even though not so many of
non-EA contestants could have been heard and operated. In addition the
propagation made a bad trick for the ES season started pretty early almost
blocking operation with EA and DX stations from here this year.
On the other hand His Maj. King of Spain Contest has never been of easy contests
demanding forbearance to catch EA stations from noise and QRM.
