Comments:
Thanks to NN3L/N3RS for pushing me to work harder but still couldn't beat last
year's score. Never found the JA opening he had - must have been during my
pre-dawn sleep hour on Saturday (only worked 9 of them). Missed the first 13
minutes because of a t-storm and the QRN continued for the next hour. Spent a
lot of time listening on the NE beverage. Had about 20 more QSOs each day
(901/522) compared to last year. No obvious change in conditions except fewer
northern EU stations worked the 2nd day. Worked 52 less Eu and 99 more USA,
and 10 fewer multipliers this year.
Couldn't sleep during the day - managed only about 6 or 7 hours in the 18 hours
of off time... But was sound asleep 30 minutes after the contest and went 12
straight...
