It´s been a few yeas since I have operated from Slovenia, and just about forgot
how different the propagation and conditions are here compared to the USA West
Coast.
Just for information from a West coast perspective, I did not work a single JA
station, also no W6 ststions. Conditions were marginal on 10 and 15, and a lot
of work for a 100 w station. Heard many stations which I did not work. Antennas
used were a vertical and a temporary tribander just above the shack roof, (5m
high) fixed west, inverted V on 80m. Lots of RF problems, but also lots of fun,
especially the DX qso´s on 80 meters.
