First, thanks to Bob, V31MD/NM2D for this great opportunity! Repair of the amp
didn't happen this week because I'm not too sure about my soldering skills. But,
low power was a blast! Woke up later than expected and got going about half an
hour into the contest. Lots of runs on 15, 20, and 40 with pretty steady rate
the whole test. Many mosquitos and sand flies visited me during the course of
the contest and it was quite entertaining watching them fight over who gets to
drink the water from the water bottle. Europe was not so loud on any bands this
weekend, but OC/JA/AS were particularly loud. Had a great time nonetheless and
would definately go back again!
