Froze my keaster off at my son's football game this afternoon and then went to
my daughter's volleyball game so I didn't know if I'd even make it back to
operate. Missed the first hour+ and most of 20 meters. The powerline noise on 80
was 20 over S9. Guess I better get the power company out here before contest
season gets into full swing. I know where the problem is and they were out here
a few times last year, but never did get it fixed as the problem keeps coming
back.
Worked a few VE3's but that was it for VE land. My station is not contest ready
so this was a few hours of reality check for me.
Just ran the one radio (IC765) at 100w so got stomped a lot.
