That was a big mistake! Didn't make first QSO for 20 mins, until some of the
big guys worked each other. No answers CQ's. But after things settled down
could crank along S&P but most times never got the couplet. KA9FOX and I
discussed our puny signals on 40 and then of all the things Scott pulled me out
on 75 with his trap dipole at 30 ft! And was my last QSO on 75 and I then CQ'ed
and called guys for the next 15 mins with no luck! LOL Been trying QRP to make
myself work harder but its kinda like hitting your thumb with a hammer...it
feels so good when you stop! Most surprising of the only few answers to my CQ's
was Trey, HC8N, on 40! wow! Great ears Trey! Thanks all for sticking with me
to get the reports, I know that you are the ones that deserve extra points for
digging the weak signals out!
Look for the TX boyz next weekend in TQP, unfortunatly I will be off racing and
miss it.
