Comments:
Beat last year's score, but missed the 40 meter USA record by 17K. Halfway
through Saturday night the VOX kept hanging and banging away non-stop. It took
almost an hour to get the problem squared away. Other than that, lots of fun.
Amazing to hear a TA station calling CQ on 7000.3. It sure is a good way to
keep anyone from coming up below you!
Biggest thrill was having a YB0 call me on an EU run on the longpath with only
20 minutes to go in the contest...love them double mults.
The strategy for working this contest on 40 is changing as the rest of the world
gets 7100 and higher.
