Comments:
Skip, KJ6Y and I went up to the station a week early to fix antennas, rotators,
etc. The WX was terrible the first few days, so we could only do ground work.
The WX cooperated Thursday and Friday, but by Friday night there was still no
80M antennas up. We agreed this would be a casual effort, mostly trying out what
had been fixed. We were so tired from the flurry of work Thursday & Friday that
we were both napping when the contest started. We spent most of the day Saturday
outside and by Saturday night all antennas, etc. were up and working. Hopefully
they will stay that way through the winter. Last year, everything was working at
the end of CQWW Phone, but by the time I got there for CQWW CW, things had
broken.
