Comments:

K5OT got the turkey day bug, so it was N1XS, W5TA, and me. We decided to do
M/2, but it wasn?t certain we?d have full operator coverage. We were off the
air for a few hours Saturday morning because of a storm and because of technical
difficulties, and had only had one station on for a few hours as well.

We started with one AL-1500 and one of my FL-2100s that would only do about
300W. In the wee hours of Saturday morning, we heard a loud POP! and the
AL-1500 blew both fuses. We tried some troubleshooting, but it was clearly out
of the game.

We did get a second FL-2100 on line at 600W. We had a few other technical
difficulties, but worked through those pretty well.

I ran 20M on Sunday morning, and had a blast with virtually no unanswered CQs
for two and a half hours. 80 was awesome for us, too. We worked most of our
80M mults with 300W. Thanks Chris and Dick and of course Bryan ? let?s do it
again soon!

Robert K5PI
