Comments:
I started out the contest doing All Band assisted.
I did not want to miss the R1 or 4W on 160 or the OJ0 on 80.
So I chose to monitior the DX cluster.
When I finally got to 160 after 2 hours on 40 and 80.... WOW
I couldn't believe the great conditions.... at that point being a
die hard 160 lover, I decided I did not want to miss any of the
great conditions and I made the decision to stay on 160.
Amazing, R1MVC was worked fairly easily and the Signal levels
of the Northern Europeans was the best I have heard in the last
5 or 6 years.
It was a sucessful weekend for me, 75 countries is the most I have
worked in any one contest weekend on TOP BAND, R1MVC was # 294 on 160
and OJ0B was # 318 on 80!
I never did hear 4W3ZZ on 160.
