Best score in this contest. I was hitting a wall near the end on 80M but managed
to "stay in the chair". Frequently checked 10M but never heard a peep out of it.
Maybe that was the problem. Everyone was listening. Gotta find a way to reduce
the local QRN on 80M. Those high voltage lines on the local PUD right-of-way
generate  an S-9 noise when it rains. 40M petered out around 0200Z here which is
6PM local. So had to endure 4 hours of mind numbing noise on 80M. Felt bad
calling CQ on that band because I know stations were calling. I just couldn't
hear them or they were at the noise level. One of our team members, Alan KB7MBI
was unable to join because of some heart and lung problems. Say a little prayer
for him.
