Comments:
The full TCG team name was "A Yankee, 3 Good Ol' Boys and 1 Bald Guy" - instead
of naming the teams TCG#1, TCG#2 I thought maybe a brain-damaged attempt at
humor would be in order. . . .TCG#3 was "The President And His Nuclear Reactor
Team" for newly installed TCG 2006 leader K1GU and top-secret wink-wink
say-no-more proton-collision master K0EJ.
First serious contest effort with the new Orion II - gave a good account of
itself, not surprisingly. Used the original Orion as the second radio.
Newly-designed and built headphone SO2R box passed its first contest run with
flying colors. I ought to get some ham radio manufacturer to build and sell
this thing ;-)
CU in the CW Sprint in Feb., followed by operating the ARRL DX CW from Barbados
SOABHP, callsign to be determined.
