Lost power about 1:30 into the contest. Probably a blessing. Strange that I was
thinking that I should take a real early break due to the punky conditions and
the lights went out! The generator would not start, so I drove out to my
father-in-law to get his. When I got back an hour later the power was back and
the bands were better.
I went into the contest with a wicked cold and could hardly talk.
