Comments:
My daughters asked if they could "be on the radio"
with me this weekend and I figured that a January VHF
contest was a good place to whet their appetites. We
used cue cards and a modicum of control operator
intervention. A good time was had by all. The one
thing they didn't like were the periods when no one
answered their CQs. Go figure. :)
The station worked very well and all my band totals
(QSOs and mults) were up 40% from last year.
As always, I have lots of station improvements planned
for the coming year.
