Tried a little SSB, and enjoyed it. My line noise problems really show up
vividly with the 2 KHz filters.
Conditions seemed very similar to the CW NAQP weekend. Very tough here on 15.
The signals were strong outside a long skip ring; inside, there was nothing.
10-nada. 40 was hot hot hot.
I found it tougher to work rate on 160 with SSB than on CW.
I hope to try some SSB contests, but will have some relearning to do for sure.
