As the contest does not allow single band entries for ON-station, I had no
intention to partissipate. However it was not possible to ragchew on 40m with my
friends without constantly being interrupted by others, begging for points for
the UBA-contest, as they realized ON4KQ, being a multi for WV-privince.
After having refused the contest for some time, I finally decided to spend some
short time in the contest to offer the points to the many stations calling - was
surprised about the activity, although most of the stations report very low
QSO's numbers on late Saturday afternoon.
So in total I was only for max 2 hours in the contest, with breaks of some
ragchewing, when meeting friends on the band. Great to speak to my old friend
Ralf, DL7SI from Berlin after some time...
