Comments:
Whew, that was an interesting ride. Twenty was productive for an hour.
Forty meters was pure bumper-car action. Eighty meters was great here.
Had more band changes and tons more CQing than ever, yet this is my
lowest Sprint score in a while. I felt better after seeing other
scores in this area. I'm still a good 50 QSOs behind W4PA@K4JNY, ugh.
My SO2R interference at high power is so severe that I may have to revert
back to one radio for the Sprints. SO2R here works great at QRP, works
OK at 100W, but it's a real mess at 1KW. I guess that's the story with
one tower and limited space to work with.
Still the best four hours in radio. It's exhilirating, even when it's
frustrating. Thanks for showing up. CW Sprint ops are the BEST.
