Comments:
This Sprint felt like a real struggle most of the time after the first
20 minutes or so until I went to 80 in the last hour. We had heavy, wet
snow here, which not only created extra receive noise, but which also
raised the SWR on my wires quite a bit; a phenomenon that I had never
noticed before.
Dodging the RTTY stations and the 3Y0X pileup made 40 seem more chaotic
than usual. Finally on 80 I felt better and was getting through on my
first calls and getting good responses at the end of my S&P QSO's.
As alway, this contest is the most fun and most challenging one for me;
the four hours seem to fly!
