Comments:
Having 10M open up on Sunday was a treat ... Happened on there just as the first
signals broke through...my first QSO was 6V6U on the first call in the noise.
Lots of great DX : A45WD & A45XR back to back; ZM1A on 80M is breakthrough for
me at my location...fist New Zealand on 80M CW!...last one was SSB in 1976!
Working KL7DX and KL1V also a nice surprise...haven't heard a KL7 in years.
R1ANN nice catch. Being in the far east its not too often that I can work deep
into Oceania (no pun intended) ...but ZK1NOU had a great signal and in the log
on 15M!
Used LP class and wondered if I would be heard at all on 160-80.... but thanks
to early evening great conditions on 160-80-40 that wasn't a problem.
A visit to 160 in that last minutes netted about 20 Q's...
I notice ther are lots out there who can't tell the difference between O and 0
...evidenced by the number of bad spots for J7OJ .... also lots of 9A1HDX
instead of 9A15DX.
Frustrations:
1.) Not getting QSK to work on the MP using N1MM and microHAM......have the
solution now after the contest.
2.) Sending weird CW strings ... my apologies to those who sent back "??"....
there is something weird going on with my paddles and the spacing and
microHAM...have to check it out....I thought it might have been RF getting into
the keyer so I have it on a separate PS and even with LP its stillhappeneing.
3.) Not being able to generate a lenghty run on any band.!!
Log now uploaded to LOTW and eQSL.
