Hi All:
Wow, what a QRP slugfest. S$Ping 20 early Sunday morning was a true
challenge. One pass (the first pass) took nearly 2 hrs and left me dizzy!!!Time
for me to retire to the KW class. Doing an allband QRP with city lot
antennas/slopers in the ARRL DX SSB from VE6 has to be an ultimate contest
effort; at least for me!!!
I must say that those 10 Q's on 40m were a QRP thrill. My hats off to my old
pal Chad WE9V at PJ2 for yanking me out of the murk first call. That was QRP
into a quarter sloper!!!
I made 2 Q's calling CQ and no points and it seemed wierd calling cq.
Sometimes the rate was 0/2/hr and mostly ~10. Thanks for the Q's and all those
who really worked to drag me out. On to WPX!!!!!
