I got my new Icom 746Pro hooked up only a couple of hours before the contest and
spent a lot of time figuring out how it works, setting filters, and
understanding the antenna tuner. That and not having a much time for the
contest resulted in a low score, but I had a lot of fun and really love the
radio. The RTTY filter is amazing, and a real step up from the Icom 718 with
the single 400 Hz crystal filter. Band conditions could have been better
though.
