Comments:
Started the contest on 80. Then went to 40 and descovered the beam did not
turn.
Went to bed with plans to do gardening the weekend.
Woke up and decided to stare at rotor box. Ranting and swearing at it produced
the concept I should wiggle the wires into the Pro Sis Tel box. Naturally that
was the cure and off I went.
That was enought good luck for the weekend as conditins were tough.
20 on Sunday was the usual USA calling CQ and tough to find a frequency with
people working each other for one point.
Have been operating this contest since 1964 and have missed about half a dozen
of these events.
With serial numbers as a measure, you notice how many stations are just giving
out QSO's.
If I thought this year was tough, next will be worse if I stay at home!
