Comments:
Used the spotting network ONLY in an attempt to see where an open spot might be
to call CQ. 100W and vertical was not heard by other FLA stations, so
continuously "lost" my frequency ALL weekend. AA3Bs spots of FLA stations gave
me "some" idea where a clear spot may be, but the QRG didn't stay clear long
unless I could gen up some callers to let other FLA stns know "somebody" was
using that QRG ... all in all, it WAS quite a PARTY.
The FCG initiated some "new" awards this year ... hope competition was keen for
them. Thanks to all for looking to the "southeast" this weekend ... it was
really fun being on the "wanted" list for once !
