Comments:
First effort in a major contest at the new Silt QTH with some real antennas so
TS class was perfect for me as I had a TA33 at 35 ft on a roof tower and a
Hytower vertical. Rig Icom 756PROII and Dentron Cliperton L amp at about 700w.
Condx poor but did get some good E skip on 10m Sunday. 20m was the bread and
butter band with over 50% of QSOs. I had some high winds which caused some
power line noise on 10 and 15. The Hytower 200 ft further from the power line
service than the TA33 was much quieter. I need to keep antennas away from the
power line! Maybe I can even find the noise source and get the power company to
fix it (if I live long enough).....Phil N0KE
