Comments:
This is Big Fun! Thanks for all the QSO's.
I was worried about my new contest call: OM5M? OK5M? Or even OY5M? But only a
handful of busts were corrected and I didn't see a busted spot. That means:
good CW copying y'all!
The OQ5M call seems to be getting through, so I'll stick to it.
Tactical issues:
- Went assisted but absolutely useless (proven once again).
- In stead: SO2R would have been the real deal here (summer project).
- Don't take a 2hr brake at night to wake up 4hr later!
I was thinking that a lot of things have changed for me in almost 5 years of
contesting. A dozen of new expensive toys were taken into service but one thing
has remained the same. That is the software: N1MMLogger is the only thing that
has been around the shack since late 2001, and it is also the only thing that I
haven't been thinking about to change it unlike antennas, rigs, accessories etc.
The N1MM software simply has the biggest "return on investment". Think about it:
profit divided by price, this leads to an infinite RoI ;o)
Enough salestalk, before I get flamed for this. ;o)
CU this summer in IARU and especially WAE CW!
