Comments:
Operated from vacation home in southwestern Colorado. IC-746PRO with G5RV about
25 feet high strung from a tree and a 20 meter GP on the roof. A tough go at
times but was pleasantly surprised at how well I was able to do on 40 meters
with a simple and low antenna. Worked 31 of the PT5/PW5 guys there Sunday
morning. Amazing how nearly all were able to pull my weak signal and
complicated callsign out on the first call. Fun contest - maybe someday I'll
work it from home with "real" antennas.
