For those of you who don't know, I've moved to Ohio after being in California
for 16 years! I sure surprised a lot of you when I sent OH for my QTH :-)
Lucky any of you could hear me... I was using a 20m inverted-V up 15' with no
balun and the rig tuner.
I thought the dipole wasn't working, but it turns out the flare really hurt
propagation. Congrats to W9RE who moved me from 40m to 15 and 10m at sunset.
Only other 10/15m QSOs were with TX, or a few Central American stations on
10m.
I hope to get the towers up before the snow starts...
