Comments:

This was an interesting experience, my first full ssb only contest. I wasn't
sure how well I would do, so set an initial goal of 100 QSOs and 5000 points.
I managed to squeeze in the full 10 hours, and needed them to pull it off.

At times I had trouble working anyone, and at others the first call did
the job. Also noticed some alligators with enormous signals that just
couldn't hear me, while other very modest signals came right back to my call.
This seems to be normal, though, so it didn't bother me (much).

I had an experimental W8JK antenna for 40 and 20m, but it must have been
too low, as it didn't do much for me, other than allow me to work a ZL
station on 20m. Anyway, it's back to the drawing board to redesign the
antenna for hopefully better results. My high 40m dipole worked better on
20m, being two half waves in phase, and 50% higher as well.

My K2 did a good job at 5w ssb. Almost everyone copied me, eventually :-)
I had to go back to some periodically until propagation peaked between us
to pull off the QSO. Bandmaps are a great tool for this.

I really missed 10m, and 15m action seemed very thin. These are my best
bands for QRP when they are open and active.

Anyway, I had a good time. Looking forward to the California QSO Party
now. Hope to hand out CA to many of you then.
Thanks for the Qs and 73.
