Well definitely not like it was in June/July VHF contests! Oh well it allowed me
to work on non-ham tasks that needed to be done anyways. Spent more time in
setup and teardown that actual operation! I hope we get back the propagation
magic that we had this summer.
Was able to test out the Hy-gain AR-35 rotator which worked ok. Although
putting a 6m, 2m, and 432 on a 5 ft mast made the Rohn push up mast a little
top heavy compared to the two earlier VHF contests where I used the armstrong
method of rotating the antennas.
