Comments:
I had a long musical engagement this weekend which took
me out of the CW Sprint Saturday night -- the second one
I've missed in ten years. I was back home Sunday just in
time for some action in the Tennessee QSO Party. Mine was
not a full-time competitive effort this time I'm afraid.
I had at least 5 QSOs with K4TCG. Missed K8MFO and
one other mobile that got away from me before I could
complete a QSO. QRN was horrendus, with several periods
of lightning very close by. Couldn't not log Washington
county in TN - program insisted on WA state, of course.
Some pretty good peak rates for a state QSO party!
The moblies sounded very busy, but the static crashes
were making many uncopiable at this QTH unfortunately.
Thanks to W9WI and to the mobiles. I hope I can spend
more time in our little contest next year.
