The Northern Corridor Radio Group Inc travelled to Muresk College near Northam
which is about 100kms east of Perth. While we were down in operators for
various reasons, holidays, work etc. We had a great time. This is very much a
fun weekend for the members and we don't take things too serious. If we stayed
in Perth we could put in a much bigger effort from our new club shack. We did
manage to operate for the full 24 hours and found conditions to be better than
expected with some good contacts logged on 40 and 80. It was nice to work some
familiar calls from all parts of the world. No South America and not much from
stateside. We did pretty well with the JA's and the Europeans on 15 and 20.
Looking forward to our trip cto Muresk hopefully again next year.
