Comments:
Mr, Murphy has been at my house all week. I had to leave town for a family
emergency and did not get back in town until after the contest had been going
on for 6 hours. I was hoping to jump right in and then found that my G5RV
feedline had broken while we were out of town due to a storm. So, before I
could get into the contest, I had to fix the antenna. Once I got started
operating, I was on target to beat my score from last year. Sunday my son was
being baptized at church, so I lost time from the contest for that also. So,
if I could have operated the full 24 hours, my score could have been much
better!!!!
My first contest as an Extra Class was not all that I had hoped for!!!!
