Comments:
This was my best January VHF contest yet. AMAZING
local turnout saved the day. Antenna were horizontal
loops on 50/144/222 and verticle whips on 432/903/1296
so I am pleased with the success of this minimal
station.
Some hight lights include:
- -23C Sunday morning ! BRRR!!!! Coax was FROZEN
solid!
- Numerous fun contacts with VA3CDD/R
- Working VE3XK, VE3CVG and VA3CDD/R on seven bands
- Making first Light (Laser) Contest QSO with VE3AAQ!!
- Working K2AXX in FN12 on 144 while mobile in
Cumberland (FN25)!
- Dinner with VE3CVG, and his XYL
- Hearing V01???/VE3 ask VE3??? if he has "any other
grids? any other grids?" ;-)
Thanks to all the locals, especially VA3CDD/R for the
great contacts!

Lots to do for the June contest including:
 - Fix 222 Tranverter (it is randomly jumping +/-
3kHz!)
 - Get 1296 Transverter back in action
 - Setup Yagi antennas to mount on van
(432/222/902/1296)
 - Practice my CW!!
 - Plan to activate more grids!
