These BARTG RTTY contests are a lot of fun with the opportunity to use the
packet spots and run high power as a single operator. I had real good luck
on 20 meters but I really didn't get the activity on 40 I expected.
I finally checked out about 10 PM local and went to bed thinking I
might get up to work the last hour of the contest from 5 AM to 6 AM
local and pick up a few more multipliers but this morning when the
time came to get up the bed seemed really warm so I stayed there.
It was -8F outdoor temp this morning.
I was hoping to work the North Dakota station this weekend but I
could only hear him working others on 20 and it is too close to
get a good contact on 20. Thanks for all the QSOs and we will see
you all in the NAQP RTTY.
