Comments:
My best first 4 hours ever with 159,138,109 and 96. I had already reached my
best total score and QSO total ever on Saturday night. (DX seemed slim on
Friday) Saturday started out better until about 0630Z when 9A4WW,could not hr
me. That's when I noticed the SWR was wacky and the antenna had died. After two
trips out in the cold air and snow I gave up. On Monday found a bad soldered
splice in the inverted L at about 30 feet-a piece of wire and split bolts fixed
it albeit after the fun was over! NOTE TO SELF:-replace 160 L wire with
contiguous piece in spring. Had lots fo fun while it lasted!
