Normally my inv. L is a passable rx antenna but the first night featured
lightning and tornado watches in adjacent counties with mega QRN. Night 2 was
slightly less bad with 'only' some 50-mph wind driven snow static etc.
Highlight 1 was reconnecting with Skip W7PN, who was RTTY Journal DX Editor
WB6CYA when I was on the Yankee Trader DXpedition in 1979. Highlight 2 was
when friend (even better friend now....)Phil N0KE told me VK9DNX was a few kHz
higher on cw, after my sunrise Sunday AM. 15 minutes later I had that one in
the station, if not contest, log.
