Comments:

That was really fun. My first time mobile, and Gator was a great partner. We
were in 24 counties over the 2 days and covered about 850 miles. No major
hiccups with the mobile setup but did navigate through a nasty
lightning/thunder storm Sunday. It sure was fun to work the regular group when
we crossed into a new county. As you can tell, SSB got almost no attention.

20 meters would not produce on Saturday, but 40 was excellent all day. The
reverse was true for Sunday. And it sure was nice to work VP2E from so many
different counties. Gordon's signal was always above the pileup! Thanks also
to the dedicated Europeans for calling in. It's pretty amazing what can be
done with a 7 foot vertical in the bed of a pickup truck and 100 watts.

Special recognition should be given to K5YAA, Jerry for organizing and doing
all the administrative work for the OQP. He is a very FB guy indeed.

Happy 100th Birthday to Oklahoma.

73, Ken K5KA
