Comments:

I always think of 7-land as my home since I lived 20 years in the Seattle area,
so this QSO party is especially fun for me from Kansas. QRN was light which was
surprising given the big storms several counties to my west. Kept the TV on all
day watching continuous news out of Greensburg after the tornado on Friday,
then kept an even closer eye on the TV as local broadcast went to continuous
weather coverage when tornados formed once again. Thanks to all of you who also
called in from all over the country wanting tornado updates or just making sure
I was OK.

Propagation was great to 7-land and there wasn't really a time all day that I
couldn't work 7s on one band or another. As activity dropped off a bit, the
INQP and NEQP kept things interesting as well. Like last year, I combined all
the mult files into one big file and sat back and enjoyed the fun. On the side,
I kept an ear out for BS7N and heard them from time to time, but always too weak
to have a hope of breaking the pileup. Another China station surprised me with a
call, so I immediately went looking for Scarborough Reef again, but still too
weak.

Special thanks to the mobiles who found my run frequency and kept coming back,
especially KD7KST/m. Caught several mobiles just travelling, and they came back
from each new county and in one case a new state as well. Also enjoyed chasing
the mobiles on CW. Here are the county stats:

AZ: 14/15 (missed APH)
ID: 16/44
MT: 24/56
NV: 8/17
OR: 34/36 (missed LCN WHE)
UT: 19/29
WA: 31/39 (missed ASO BEN CHE FER GAR LIN OKA PEN)
WY: 7/23
    153/259

Having an 8 state party takes some real organization, so thanks to all who
worked so hard to make this happen once again. Until next year ...

73, Bob, w0bh
