Comments:

My "first-ever" RTTY contest. In fact, I made my "first-ever" RTTY contact
about 12 hours before this contest started. I was obviously still learning how
to use everything during the contest.

I was surprised at how much trouble I had in getting MMTTY to demodulate weak
RTTY signals. I still have a great deal to learn about setting up the MMTTY
demodulator. My heartfelt thanks to all those who hung in with me to complete
our QSO in the face of my inexperience (and all the local QRN).

With all the trouble I had in copying some of the signals, I am a bit worried
about my composite error rate for this contest. The initial decision was to
not submit my log; however, I figure that I can't learn from my mistakes if I
don't know what they were...

I want to thank everyone I worked for my initial RTTY contact with you, and I
hope there will be plenty more in the coming contests.

73,

Rick
