Comments:

Really off tonight. Rusty. QLFy if that's a word I can borrow from K6VVA.
Worked outside doing mowing and trimming and weed whacking and brush clearing
all week. It was hot and dry for a change. Then also completed the antenna
repairs (minor) for the IARU this weekend. Lots of tower climbing and hillside
slogging to fix the NE beverage. Really bushed.

I started the NS tonight by being able to get no one on 20. The first two QSOs
were on 40. I can't crack the wall of sound into the west coast at the start
for some reason. Other errors: I had the CW monoitor up too high on Radio 2,
and could not hear the incoming signals on radio 1. I forgot how to call a
station on the "inactive" radio so missed a couple of easy QSOs. W9RE could not
hear me on 80. I was terible on copying and had to keep asking for repeats. Blah
blah blah.

Finally got untracked but still had a very poor last ten minute segment with
only 12 QSOs. Hope that I got the "QLFs" out of my system.

Most worked stations (no one more than three times tonight)

3 QSOs: VA3NR, W4NZ, KG5U, and N4LF

I worked the elusive KA3DRR twire tonight on 20- meters! Yeah! Scot, you were
559 once and 339 the other. pretty light, but it was fun!

That's it. Numbers seemed down for most tonight even though the activity was
really high. Got beat out so many times on 40 (unusual for me) that I lost
count. Ditto on 80 but that's usual. Nice little couplet at the end on 80 with
K4BAI and K0XP that salved my wounded pride.

Thanks to all for the usual great fun. Tnx NCCC!

Jim
