For the first time in NS, I cranked up the tower. It was far better last week
(15 mults vs. 11) when I left it nested down at 25'. 20M just was not as
strong, and I really felt it.
40M was a lot weaker as well. Last week, 14 Qs for 10 mults. This week, 10 Qs
for just 7 mults. Though I wish the madness continued every week, I think it's
about the right time to stop for the summer up here. Not much fun once 20M is
vacant.
Didn't even bother with 80M at this time of year. Had really hoped for a
1,000-point finish this week, but it was not to be. I had bright sunlight
pouring into the shack for the entire half hour.
