I was sitting here Thursday night figuring my strategy for this one.
Figured I'd open on 10 or maybe 15 and run Eu for a couple of hours. Then move
to 20 and run Eu there for a couple more before going to 40 and 80. Then sit
there and run Eu all night. HAHAHAHA--boy what a joke :-)
I worked every station I heard on Friday night and Saturday morning with my
2-el monobander on 20 at 25 feet. Never got on Sunday as it was too nice
outside to play inside.
It was funny, DM1A was pounding in on 20 meters Friday night about S-9, along
with DR1A and SK3W. With big signals from those stations, figured the band
should be open, but most of the other stations were just in the noise. I
clicked on every spot on the bandmap and didn't hear anything.
Sure be glad when the spots come back again!!!! 73
