There sure are a lot of stations using poor quality digital recordings to CQ. I
had to listen to some a lot of times to figure out the station call. It is also
a problem when signals are weak and QRM heavy when a different voice answers
than CQd. I suppose that digitized voice is here to stay, but we could at
least use high quality and try to make the CQ and operator sound alike.
