Comments:
Thanks for sponsoring the Contest. I'm sure there
was good SP station participation. Unfortunately,
I wasn't able to work many of them due to the
conditions at this QTH which were far less than
normal.
The Contest started with very poor propagation.
Static from approaching storms started to
show up on 20 meters, the only band open to
Europe, three and half hours into the Contest. So
with bad propagation plus the static crashes, I
called it quits. I did get on for a few minutes later,
but the static was even worse.
Missed Africa. Did hear a TR8, but he got buried
under a local (USA) station calling CQ.
Oh, well,it has to be better next year!
