Comments:

The activity was there for a full time effort but I put in a part time mobile
chasing effort. Usually tests like this have 2 or 3 good ops giving out the
action, well this QSO party had a great turnout of great operators driving all
over Florida. N4PN, W4AN, K4KK, K4KG, K4OJ KO5W, W5WMU, N4BP and many others
did a fantastic job on CW I never even bothered to listen on phone.

Condx: Well sometimes they were great and sometimes they were awful. On Sunday
there was a time when all of the mobiles were stronger than the base stations,
how is that possible? Saturday afternoon KH7XS and CT1ILT were louder than any
FLA stations. Again on Sunday at about 2:00 Eastern and noon New Mexico time
W4AN/Tay was still in there on 40. That is a haul out to New Mexico for a
mobile signal.

Speaking of New Mexico. I operated this test using both internet remote
stations W4MQ in Virginia and W7DXX in New Mexico. It worked out ok except on
40 Saturday night when I was turned down as a dupe by one station. Most of the
time spent was from W7DXX in New Mexico. I believe I was the only NM
participant. I listened on 20 long path using VK3UR and heard quite a few home
based stations but just a whisper of N4PN/M.

Congratulations to all of the mobiles.
